For 25 years Dean Greer has focused his practice on the areas of Financial Rehabilitation and/or Bankruptcy for consumers and businesses. To enhance his skills, in December 1995 he became the regions first and still only Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist. Dean Greer has been involved in more Federal Bankruptcy proceedings than any other attorney in this region. He handles all types of case, but his specialty is complex and difficult cases.
Dean Greer is a native of Kingsport, Tennessee. He graduated from King College, Bristol, TN in 1979 summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He attained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia, in May 1982. After practicing briefly in Mountain City, TN, Dean Greer opened his Law Office in January 1984. For many years Mr. Greer engaged in a general practice. As a result, Mr. Greer has a wide range of experience in many other areas of the law. Mr. Greer was awarded his Certification as a Consumer Bankruptcy Law Specialist by the American Board of Certification. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, American Bankruptcy Institute, Tennessee Bar Association, Kingsport Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives.
DAVID N. DARNELL
Mr. Darnell is unique among those representing the disabled and the injured. He represents those seeking Social Security Disability through all levels of appeal up to the Federal 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. His tenacity and drive will get those who have been injured compensation for what they deserve. He takes the time to get to know and understand each client and their unique disabilities and the injuries that may impact their ability to work and function day to day. He holds the distinction of having received a reversal from the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, one of the only attorneys who has gotten a reversal of the SSA by the Circuit Court in the past five years. His compassion, drive, nonstop work ethic, and desire to provide the best representation for the disabled in our community makes him the best choice to represent you if injured or disabled.
David N. Darnell is a native of East Tennessee where he and his wife, Stacie, have raised their three sons in the Fall Branch Community. Mr. Darnell graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Memphis. He is a proud Tennessee “Volunteer” fan. For 20 years, Mr. Darnell has provided services to businesses and people in upper east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.
Mr. Darnell is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Kingsport Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives. He is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education courses on the subjects of Long Term Disability, Bankruptcy and Probate matters.
JEREMY D. JONES
Jeremy D. Jones joined Dean Greer & Associates in 2013 as a Bankruptcy Specialist Trainee. His time is devoted to Bankruptcy & Rehabilitation for consumers and businesses. Since he is training to become a Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist, he is required to handle difficult and complex cases.
Jeremy Jones is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in Business Transactions. While in law school, Mr. Jones represented small businesses and nonprofit organizations through the UT College of Law Business Law Clinic. Mr. Jones was awarded a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude, and first in his business class, from East Tennessee State University in 2010. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, Tennessee Bar Association, and Kingsport Bar Association. Jeremy is a native of Bristol, Tennessee, where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters.
